Wood Norton

St. Mary's Church, Wood Norton

A small, quiet, but very pretty village set in the heart of rural North Norfolk and has outstanding views over the surrounding country side.

St Mary’s Church is on the edge of the village, its tower has a distinctive brick top dating from a 1700 rebuild, depicted on the village sign. There are fragments of mediaeval glass in the tower window. The font is octagonal with singular bulged faces and a 17th-century cover.
