Saxlingham

St. Margaret's Church, Saxlingham

Saxlingham is a small, quiet and pretty village three miles south of Blakeney. St.Margaret's Church was restored by Sir Alfred Jodrell, the benefactor of Glandford and Bayfield Hall.

To its north is the former ruin of Heydon Hall, the home of Sir John Heydon before he decamped to Baconsthorpe Castle. It was recently restored and renamed, and is now a private residence.
