Great Walsingham

Great Walsingham, now smaller than its neighbour Little Walsingham, is a quiet, pretty village. It has a beautiful 14th century church, St. Peter's, which has lost its chancel. However, it has two spacious aisles and an attractive tower, inside which hang the oldest set of three bells still in use in England. They date from between 1330 and 1350 and were cast by William Silisden.
