Little Barningham, or Barningham Parva

The church, St. Mary's, overlooks the village.

Approached through narrow, quiet and pretty country lanes, Little Barningham lies to the south of Plumstead and Matlaske. The lack of car traffic in this area of North Norfolk makes this ideal biking and walking country.

The village is small, and so is its church. St. Andrew's has some knapped flint and stands on a small eminence.

Barningham Norwood is one mile north of Barningham Park, Matlaske. Not much of it survives today, just two farms and a few cottages, and the church of St. Peter. No longer in use, it is cared for by the Redundant Churches Fund.
